General Questions

1. Do you deliver every image you shoot?

A: No, we do not. It’s a common practice to eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions, and other images that don’t meet our quality standards.

2. Do we provide videography services?

A: Yes, we do. We do not capture video, but that is left up to the talented videographers from a company we established an alliance with over a decade ago. The videography team will certainly exceed your expectations. The quality of their work and the experience they provide are second to none.

As two separate companies, you receive the experience and talent of each respective service. Our work ethic is professional, and we perform as if it were a single company. We support each other and assist in any way possible so the client receives the best possible service and quality of work.

We collaborate and discuss the details of the event and exchange information as needed before the wedding. There are many other benefits we would love to discuss with you. Just schedule your free consultation today.

3. Have you shot at my venue before?

A: We have shot at many venues throughout the years, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if by chance we have not, we will get to the venue early on the event day and perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. We also do extensive online research before your big day!

4. Which photographer will be shooting my wedding?

A: You end up having two primary photographers (Eddie and Ambar) at your wedding. If you are wondering whether there are differences in style and quality between both photographers, the answer is yes and no. We bring a certain perspective to weddings, which allows us to give a variation of top quality photos to clients.

5. What do your photography collections include?

A: All of our wedding collections include delivery of high-resolution professionally retouched digital files. Two primary and experienced photographers will be at your wedding throughout the coverage period. Assistant photographers are only added as needed. Other available services and tangibles can include an engagement session, wedding album, prints, wall art, thank you cards, and much more. Schedule your free consultation today so we can answer all your questions.

6. Can you help us create a timeline for or wedding day?

A: We assist you in creating a timeline for photography. Approximately three to four months before your wedding, we schedule an informal meeting to go over some of the general details of the day. Then, as we get closer to the wedding, we continue to have meetings until the timeline is set.

We are flexible with our time since we only schedule one event daily. We will provide you with a preliminary timeline before you speak to the venue so we can coordinate everything. If you plan to have the ceremony at another location, we’ll also help you fit the ceremony into the schedule. When it’s all done, you will have a timeline set before the wedding day.

7. What is your level of experience photographing weddings?

A: Right in the beginning, we address this by posting the millions of photographs we have captured thus far and the number of hours and clients we have served. Our career has been centered around wedding photography and providing clients with the most beautiful images imaginable.

Its not the awards or accolades we receive from other photographers that encourage us, but clients like yourself who love our work. Visit our galleries and see some of our work delivered to clients. We also encourage you to read the article on Our Wedding Style, which will help you get a complete picture of us and the photos we can deliver for your event.

8. Are the photos provided ours or do you posses the copyright?

A: The photos that we provide are yours, and you can certainly reprint them and share them with friends and family. We even provide you with a release letter allowing you to reprint your photographs. However, it is understood that the copyright will always belong to the studio. You may not sell your images for profit or commercially publish your images without the written consent of Ambar moreno Photography.

Questions Regarding Style and Quality

1. What is your philosophy regarding Photography?

A: You are welcome to review details on our wedding photography philosophy and values by clicking here.

2. What is your photography style?

A: Ambar Moreno Photography has a unique and sought-after style forged from photojournalism, fine art, and visual storytelling. The combination of creative lighting, composition and post-production is where our images receive their accolades from couples. For additional details, we suggest you read about our photography style so you can gather more details about it.

3. Are you capable of photographing in dark venues?

A: We have experience photographing in churches, synagogues, chapels, and other dark venues. If allowed, we will set up additional lighting as necessary, but if there are restrictions on the use of flashes, most likely, we will be fine since we use the latest camera equipment and lenses that can perform well under dark conditions.

4. Do you touch up all the images we receive?

A: A resounding yes, we do. Every image we deliver is carefully reviewed and retouched. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, clarity corrections, and other corrections as needed. It also includes a full set we provide as black-and-white images. Our custom retouching is our signature but the standard method used to produce our top-quality work.

Questions Regarding The Wedding Day

1. How many hours do you suggest we set aside for wedding day photos?

A: We suggest you review our article on Wedding Photography Timeline, which provides a detailed breakdown of how much time you may need for wedding photos.

2. There is a gap in our day, Will you charge for that time?

A: The time we are contracted for includes any downtime between scheduled events or travel time. A typical wedding day rarely has a significant time gap and we are usually photographing during that entire time unless we are traveling between locations. We prefer to be as efficient as possible and spend it photographing the couple, their bridal party, and their family. We will gladly discuss every possibility with you and help you minimize any downtime.

3. Are we limited to the contracted time?

A: As much planning as you do for your wedding, there are times when scheduled events within the day do not occur as scheduled. We simply don’t pack up at the end of the contact time and walk away. We will ask whether you would like to extend your time. If you want us to remain, we will charge the rates specified in your contract to the closest 30-minute increment.

4. Why do we need to charge for additional coverage?

A: As mentioned in the previous question, scheduled events are sometimes delayed, which pushes forward all the other planned events within the timeline. We don’t pack up at the end of the contact time and walk away.

If you want us to remain, we will charge the rates specified in your contract to the closest 30-minute increment. During our time at your wedding, we continuously photograph and capture images that will have to be post-produced, which adds to the overall cost.

Questions Regarding Photos, Albums, and Prints

1. How long does it take to get my photos?

A: We capture a significant number of photographs at a wedding. We review every photograph captured and select the best images. Once they are selected, we begin retouching every photograph that will be delivered. It typically takes 8 to 12 weeks to complete that process. If you require rush processing, a fee of $300 will be charged, and rush delivery may also require additional shipping costs.

2. Do you provide an online gallery for our photos?

A: Yes, we do. Once the photos have been retouched, they are uploaded to a private, password-protected gallery where you can view and download your photos. From this gallery you will also have the ability to select your album photos, which makes the process simple and fun.

3. How long does it take to get my album?

A: The timeline for designing and producing an album will vary. It begins with the couple selecting the images for the album. After an initial design, several revisions may be needed before you are satisfied. The task of designing the cover and box will further prolong the production of the album.

Once everything has been completed, the design is submitted for production, which can take up to five weeks. Although there is no set time for the completion of designing and producing the album, we will work efficiently within your timeframe.

Similar to the post-production process, if you require rush processing, a fee of $300 will be charged. Additional fees for rush shipping may also apply.

4. How many images do we get in our wedding album?

A: That is entirely up to you, but for our Signature Collection albums, we like to keep it at 50 images. You are welcome to add pages to the album at an additional cost. Dong so will accommodate the added photos.

5. Do we offer wall art and prints?

A: We welcome you to visit the page on Wall Art and Albums so you can have an idea of what we offer.
